To My Generation

This is an email that I sent in December 2010 to many of my friends, family members, classmates, and church-mates at the onset of PlugIn2God's creation. I hope you that even now, it will still have force and import to the young souls seeking truth and reality.

Dear Young Person,

The world is slowly changing into something that we have never known it to be. Crime is at an all-time high. Vulgarity is regularly advertised and practiced. Teen pregnancy is now preteen pregnancy. All in all, God is not in the equation.

There’s a war going on— and it's no joke.

I am a fifteen-year-old girl— a teen, a Christian young person like you— who is passionate for God. Like any person, I’m not perfect; no one is, for “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23, KJV). But my sole desire at this point is to reach my generation for Christ.

Of course, this is not an easy task, nor can it be accomplished by just one person. As soldiers in God’s army, the Captain is requesting that each of us do the part we can do and make a difference for Him. We need to be a “peculiar people, zealous of good works” (Titus 2:14), because that’s what God has asked us to be and if we truly love Him, our actions will be that which He desires us to be (John 15:15).

If you want to be apart of this revolution for God, if you want to make a difference for Him, if you what to serve Him to the fullest, the time to act is NOW. The devil is working extremely hard, and with excellent efficiency: do we really want the enemy to win us and those we love? Do we really want to wait? Is there time to wait? We do not want to be caught up the cares of this life just to find that we are ensnared in Satan’s traps. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

All around us, without us even knowing, Satan is placing little, subtle things in our path— things that to us are benign and unimportant and do not have the appearance of evil. After we are lured into such simple things as that, the situations get bigger, and the subtleties become clearer; but we shrug our shoulders and say, “It’s not much different from what I have done before.” In addition, there are many things that we partake in and enjoy while oblivious to hidden symbolism and underlying messages that we have no idea about. Now, ignorance does not make us wrong— after all, we did not know. But God expects us to go and find information, know our stuff; and He will always make a means for us to find out one way or another. After we have knowledge then, we must follow it. “So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin” (James 4:17, ESV). We must make sure that we seek after knowledge and be workmen who, unashamed, rightly divide the word of truth (2Timothy 2:15); or else be as the nation of Israel was, as recorded in Hosea 4:6: “ ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...’ ”

I am starting a youth ministry called PlugIn2God. I would like all people— especially young people— to be connected to God and be in sync with His will for each and every one of their lives. I want us all to be ready for when Christ comes again. One of the best way to enrich your relationship with God is to help others reach Him too. I am in the process of creating a website for this ministry and would appreciate your ideas, suggestions, assistance, and prayers for both the website and the ministry on a whole. I am contiulally praying that more and more people will develop a passion for God and a burning desire to serve Him to the utmost: I pray that YOU are one of them.

Looking for Me

In family worship, we have reading from the book of Ezekiel. There are a lot of deep and awesome truths found in that book, some of which unlock other controversies that we have yet to understand. Throughout the coming weeks, I will write about the book of Ezekiel based on various points my family members bring out each night. I pray that you will blessed.   I was lost, but now am found. But who found me? Who was looking for me? "For thus saith the Lord God; 'Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.' " (Ezekiel 34:11) And why does He want to find me ? "As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out My sheep , and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day." (Ezekiel 34:12) And as my favorite Scripture says, "I have called you by your name; you are Mine " (Isaiah 43:1). The Cloudy and Dark Day It i

Remember the Titans: Remember the Leaders

In life, there is a need for leaders—persons who will take up responsibility and be the trendsetters that others can follow. As Reed Markham, PhD, stated, “ Successful leaders see the opportunity in every difficulty rather than the difficulty in every opportunity”. “Remember the Titans” is an inspiring movie that teaches the truth about leadership and positive influence.      Among the many examples of leadership portrayed in this movie is Gerry Bertier, captain of the TC Williams football team. Gerry showed qualities of leadership by taking charge and following through with his responsibility. One of the ways he did this was by dropping Ray, his best friend, from the team due to the fact that Ray was not playing defensively on behalf of his Negro teammates, which resulted in the injury of one of them. Even though this decision threatened his friendship with Ray, Gerry still fulfilled his responsibility. Another quality of leadership Gerry shows is open-mindedness; he connected to
